OUR FILLIES MISCELLANEOUS PAGES *******************************
******************************* breeds - the Gypsy Horse. He is known by several names, according to where in the world one might live. Gypsy Horse, Gypsy Vanner, Gypsy Cob or Tinker. Regardless of the name given or registry affiliation, they are all the same breed. We breed sparingly. Our mares are paired with top quality stallions who will best compliment them. This not only to do our part in protecting the breed, but to send it off into the future, with the knowledge that we did not fail it. We are all only but links in the chain. As the breed marches onward, breeding decisions any of us makes now, will tell those who come after, whether or not we were truly dedicated. If you would like to enquire about any horses we might have for sale, or possible future planned breedings, do give us a call and we will be pleased to discuss it. All our horses are handled daily and are used to adults, children and dogs. Great temperament, is certainly our uppermost priority here. If my mother and my children, cannot handle any of our horses in an emergency, you will not find such horses here at Harlequin Farms. Most of our adults are trained under saddle and/or to the cart. We feel horses are happier when trained and given a job to do. One of our mares, was the youngest horse of any breed, to take part in the Rose Parade. We thank most sincerely, all who have added our horses to their breeding programmes, or as foundation stock for their farms. *************************************** BOARDING We also offer boarding in our lovely facilites. Beautiful stalls with outside runs, large paddocks, round pen and huge arena. Gated, with someone on site 24hrs per day. We also have a state of the art, dog grooming facility on site. *************************************** click on our Information button (above) to read our "Gypsy Horse History" and tons more information. Don't miss our "Golden Gypsy Horses of the Past and Present" pages. You will see some of the "greats" of the breed there. We also have a fabulous collection of old photos and art work. *************************************** PLEASE NOTE If you are viewing this page on a wide screen monitor, all pictures might appear wider and the horses/people etc. will be stretched. Setting your screen resolution to 1280 x 720 pixels will probably correct the problem. Many of our pages are highly graphically intensive, so might be slow to load on some computers. This especially so for those on dial-up. However, we believe it will be worth the wait. ![]() Gypsy Horses are like potato chips - you can't have just one! You may email us here.
