'GOLDILOCKS'
We are proud to announce, that Tishers SR Shurlock, has joined our family. This beautiful, chestnut, 33.50" Miniature mare, with the sweetest of temperaments, is a true treasure. The old Tisher line horses, are extremely difficult to find these days. Many were exported to Europe. With her superb conformation, clean legs, pretty head piece and big hip, she is built the way they should be. And to top it off, this mare can move!
You will see from Goldilocks' pedigree, she is heavily inbred to Tishers Little Baron. According to Johnice Lynn Hopson, of Wynn's Folly Minis, Baron was used to produce chestnut horses with light manes and tails, along with a big blaze and four white feet. As a side effect, a lot of silver dapples and splash overos started cropping up. This leads me to suspect that he was possibly a minimal pinto silver bay and not chestnut as always reported.
We would be delighted to meet up with others, who might still own some of the original Tisher bred horses and especially if you own one of Goldilocks' offspring.
