Shown at two weeks old.
A delicious block of a girl, with an ultra
short back and beautiful markings.

SILKY AT SEVEN MONTHS
Silky has finally arrived home in California, after her long
journey from Arkansas.

Hmm. This must be my new home.

They'd probably like to see me run.

SILKY AT ELEVEN MONTHS

Silky has a gorgeous head, long shoulder and
a really short back. Add to that, tons of bone
and this girl should be a fabulous mare when mature.
She'll be a tall girl too. Already over 14 hands at
just short of a year old.

What a pretty head this girl has.

Silky at at just 12mos. and already 14 hands.
She is growing into a beautiful Mare.

Such a lovely girl.

Silky's Sire, "Prince Charming".
This beautiful stallion exemplifies all the good qualities
we seek in the breed.
His sire, Syd's Good Stallion, needs no introduction.
He was tragically lost to the breed way too soon.
Prince's dam Rose, is from the renowned "Rose" line, who have
produced so many of the greats, such as Black Forest Shires'
Rosie and the phenomenal Panda Rose, to whom Prince is
a full brother.

Silky's Dam, "Pollyanne".
A big, beautiful block of a girl, with hair and feather to spare,
she is a Granddaughter of Mick Harrington's,
Original Old Kent Horse.
You can't get much better breeding than that
and she is often mistaken for a stallion.

Gypsy Horses are like potato chips -
you can't have just one!
